2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC Redesign Highlights: Performance

As far as performance is concerned, Toronto drivers can expect a new 4-cyl engine that is assisted by an electric motor. This 48-volt motor works to maximize coasting during acceleration in order to boost fuel economy numbers. Without the motor, the combustion engine achieves 258 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque alone. With the motor, you’ll enjoy an extra 23 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque, on top of the original specs, and all with hybrid levels of efficiency!

What’s more, the 4MATIC® All-wheel drive system now includes “Down Hill Speed Regulation” and “Off-road” driving modes! Toggle to “Off-road” mode, and not only will your vehicle’s handling change, but a camera view of the terrain under the front hood of your vehicle will feed to your monitor, allowing you to avoid rougher terrain on the rocks!
