Q. What is CDK, and what’s happening?

CDK Global provides cloud-based software for dealerships across Canada and the US to manage vehicle sales, financing, insuring, repairs and maintenance. On June 18, 2024, CDK reported a cyber incident that affected the estimated 15,000 dealerships it serves across North America. An additional incident happened on the evening of June 19, 2024, prompting CDK to proactively take its platforms offline while they work to reinstate their services to us.

Q. Why is it affecting dealership operations, and how does this affect me?

Mercedes-Benz Newmarket relies on CDK software to operate customer transactions. With current CDK system disruptions, our location is fully transacting, but may be operating with delays. Guests may experience longer than usual processing times during this temporary disruption. While CDK works to return its services to full capacity, our teams are flexible to help you with your vehicle sales and service needs.

Our top priority is to ensure the safety of our customers. and that includes the integrity of customer data and privacy.
